The Truth in the form of 'Red Shaydez'

RED SHAYDEZ, also known as The Entertainer, has been performing since she was 7 years old. Inspired by her father, who, as a member of Hip Hop/R&B group Killin Field, achieved moderate success during the 90's. She even appeared in her first music video (Killin Field) at the tender age of 6.

Growing up she discovered not only a growing interest in music but also the media that accompanies it, from film production to acting to directing music videos. Not wanting to be limited in her pursuits, she also hosts a radio show airing on Sundays from 5p-7p EST that draws listeners from all over the world. She discusses everything from social issues to entertainment while educating her listeners by playing Old School R&B and Hip Hop from before her time, as well current music and supporting the independent music community by playing songs from up and coming, unsigned and unknown artists as well.

Having directed and produced her first music video in March 2009 for her song "You Know My Style", a remake paying homage to Nas's song by the same title, she's now going to school for Film/Video Production with a minor in Sociology and has a new single available on ITUNES called "Bad Newz", right now receiving rotation in Belgium for the Women's Special Edition on SupaFly Radio Collective.

In between all of that she is also finishing up her debut project entitled, “Info-Red (Infrared)” slated for release within the next few months.

Lord Hanuman (out of this world)

I was born in Detroit, Michigan moved to Atlanta, GA when I was 10. In between the age of 10 untill now age 24 I have been inspired by the mystical arts of alchemy fantasy and science fiction as mediums to make music. Chi energy exalting one's self the spirit soul and mind becoming a super saiyan through my music. Creating visual images through my music  comic book tales interwoven with real life experiences. I currently reside in seattle Wa and am focusing on promoting my music as a creative art and vehicle to interact with minds throughout the world. Known and unknown. I am unafraid to speak on taboo topics (my song satanist on youtube). Horror movies and kung fu flicks plays a great deal in my writing process. Beyond me just talking about these things I actually strive to live this way.( I practise capoeira martial arts) Beleiving in knowing thyself and my own creativity will inspire others  in the future to come.
Pleas listen to my youtube videos to get a feel of my whole musical style to include in the blog.

Knoxie Ty (personally one of my Favorite Female Mc's of all time)

The voice of an old intelligence. Knoxie-Ty takes you to a time and place of substance and reality through music. From Classical symphonies to experimental, from Jazz to Modern day Hip Hop, are all fragments that contribute to her rare and unique sound of creativity.

Knoxie-Ty began writing lyrics at the age of twelve. The more she wrote, the more she became interested in music. Coming from a deeply rooted musical family, her mother being a songwriter, and father a dj, Knoxie knew that music was that “special” attribute she possessed. Although she grew up in the rural neighborhoods of Jersey City, N.J, she always used the negative imagery of her surroundings to create positive, meaningful music. From being a songstress, writing rhymes, composing, and self taught knowledge of guitar, piano and basic engineering, Knoxie-Ty is taking the word “emcee” to greater heights.

Knoxie released her first solo mixtape "The Academy", June 2010. The first solo release on the very long road, on her quest of becoming a leading figure in Hip Hop.

With his Raw uncut lyrical flow Artist Sol Infinite brings a breath of fresh air to the game

"Im actually vibing to his song "Vision of a better day as Im typing this great original  music

It is seldom for an up-and-coming artist who lives and breathes hip-hop to declare with confidence that he is not a rapper. A man with a passion for rhyming who separates himself from the category, “rapper” seems like such a contradiction, particularly in an age where just about everyone wants to be a rapper. But delve a bit deeper and it all becomes more transparent. Sol Infinite (born Larry Johnson) is an artist that prefers not to be confined to just one space. His craft encompasses much more. He is a musician, with no limits.

The multi-talented songwriter/producer/performer is within destination, hoping to make a name for himself, without conforming to the mainstream. Lyrically, he exposes himself, creating music that is introspective, yet still relatable. In a sense, he takes everything he has learned, experienced and admired from others and molds it into music that is intelligent, inspirational, soulful, and unapologetic.

The youngest of two children, Sol Infinite was born in Paterson, NJ in 1981. He spent his teenage years in Montclair, NJ, where he still resides today. Growing up, he remembers going to his aunt’s house every weekend for family gatherings. His aunt would spin records, turning him on to artists ranging from Blue Magic, James Brown and The Dramatics, to KRS One and Public Enemy. It was here that he first discovered hip-hop.

From there he began writing rhymes in high school, simply as a way of expressing himself. He soon realized that it was more than just a hobby—it was second nature. His motivation to create music goes beyond fame and aspirations of material treasures. For him, creating music is something that he has to do.

Today, he is inspired by artists such as Nas, Jay-Z, Mos Def, Chino Moreno (from Deftones), Jimi Hendrix, and Miles Davis, among others. He credits these artists as musicians who have walked or are walking “the tightrope of artistry,” in that they do not do what is expected of them. Instead, they reach for something higher that is honest and real and are unafraid to evolve in their journey.

Now, Sol Infinite embarks on a journey of his own with his first album, Within Destination. In the past, he released an EP, but never envisioned recording a full-length album. As he started recording songs, everything seemed to take on a life of its own. In just five months, he wrote, produced, arranged, and recorded the album.

The concept of Within Destination is universal in that it speaks to a period in life that everyone ultimately experiences. It is about fear and self-doubt. It is feeling as if you are not living up to your potential and then ultimately breaking the cycle of fear by eliminating the negativity or whatever hindrance stands in the way of achieving your dream. In essence, the album is about searching “within,” one’s soul before embarking on the journey towards that “destination.”

lyricist Signif seeks to change the definitions of the female MC

In a male dominated medium that often sees women using their sexuality to make a name for themselves, Signif is an extremely talented emcee who chooses to channel the ART of Hip-Hop in her songs rather than the hype that surrounds the “prototype” of the female emcee.
The New York resident, born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was first turned onto Hip-Hop by her older brothers, which began the cementing of her love for the music. At age 8 she began exploring written expression through poetic musings and this eventually led to an active participation in Freestyling. With poetry and Freestyling under her belt, she soon took to developing songs that attempted to capture the essence of both the poetic and off the cuff approaches she was already familiar with.
This eventually led to the development of recorded projects of her own as well as working with other people as a guest on their music. In 2009 she released Beautifully Flawed, an EP that would introduce her to the game as a viable artist but it wasn’t until the 2010 release of her album The Transition that people really started to take notice of who Signif was, and that she was somebody who could really add something fresh to the Hip-Hop landscape. Helping to keep the ball rolling forward in 2010, she released a remix project that saw her teamed up with budding underground producer Haz Solo, as well as several clean and crisp music videos done by Alphabang Productions. All of this is leading to a new EP that is guaranteed to be as well received by the public and press as all of her past projects.
When you listen to Signif you hear a young woman that is articulate, clever, confident, creative, and straight up dope. She is NOT a trend. She is NOT a fad. Plain and simple, Signif IS Hip-Hop and she IS the future of the art-form that so desperately needs more people who are dedicated to rising above a status quo that unfortunately champions cultural regression instead of the power of enlightenment.
